We work with people who, for a variety of reasons, have struggled to find work. We make sure the role will fit that person’s outlook and circumstances, as well as their skills and experience, before we put them forward to you.
We put together a personalised programme for each job-seeker that can cover:
• the maths, English and IT skills they’ll need for today’s workplace
• skills and qualities that will help them be effective at work – such as communication, team work and problem solving
• sector-specific training so they have a fuller understanding of the roles and businesses they’re going into; this can include practical, industry-relevant certifications such as food hygiene, healthy and safety, CSCS cards and fork lift truck licences.
Support for new starters
Our job coaches ensure staff members come to you fully motivated and ready to impress. But we don’t just wave goodbye then. We keep in touch with our new starters, and you, throughout those important first weeks while they settle into your team.
If your new starter comes to you as an apprentice, we’ll continue to support and develop them for 12 to 24 months, until they complete their Apprenticeship.
