Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this course. It's open to anyone wanting to build their Level 2 Maths and English for adults skills, whatever your starting point. 

Average Completion Timeframe 

The average time to complete this course is 12 months, although many learners finish sooner by working through the modules at their own pace. 

Exams Required 

Exams are not included in this course. You can add a remotely invigilated exam at any time through one of our exam-only options, rather than being tied to fixed GCSE-style exam dates.

No membership is required to enrol on this course. 

Extension Rules 

You may extend this course once, for a maximum of six months. 

Course Fees 

All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans, must be settled in full before your certificate of completion can be ordered. You'll have access to your course materials for 12 months.

Assessment

Throughout the course you'll be assessed by online quizzes and tutor-marked assignments for both Maths and English, building towards a marked mock exam for each subject. Score 80% or more in your quizzes, and you'll be ready to move on to your tutor-marked assignment; once these are passed, you'll take your mock exam, marked by your tutor with feedback on any areas to revise. 

This course doesn't include your final Functional Skills exams, so once you've completed your learning, you'll be fully prepared to book your Maths and English Level 2 online exam whenever suits you, whether that's with learndirect or another provider. This course prepares you for two separate Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, awarded by TQUK once you've completed the relevant exams.
