learndirect already has a number of policies and standards in place that form a robust approach to preventing and dealing with fraud, bribery, and corruption. A new Policy Statement has been published which gives an overview of this approach and summarises the various policies which form the basis of the approach.
The statement also explains who the policy applies to, and outlines the key principles of our approach. The statement explains the ‘three line of defence’ model used to evaluate processes and controls and also covers the 3 key objectives of learndirect’s approach to counter fraud which are to prevent, detect, and respond.
