What this course covers
Designated safeguarding leads and supervisors need more than general awareness, they must be ready to receive disclosures, share information lawfully and lead a coordinated response. This programme is grounded in key legislation including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, the Care Act 2014 and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
Learners cover how to apply a structured judgement process when assessing a concern and how to document a disclosure sensitively. The course builds the confidence needed to act decisively across education, health, social care, sport and charity settings.
