On completion of this CPD course, you should be able to:

• Diagnose and manage medical emergencies.
• Explain the principles of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Explain the use of the appropriate drugs and equipment during an emergency.
• Implement a team approach to handling medical emergency situations.
• Measures to help prevent and prepare for emergencies.
• Recognise medical emergencies.
• Treat medical emergencies, including basic life support, drugs and equipment.

Entry Requirements

There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.

All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.

Qualifications

On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Key Skills 3: Medical Emergencies.
