Identity theft is not a new crime, it is probably as old as crime itself, it was until not so long ago known as impersonation.
At the present moment it is estimated that one in four will be a victim of identity theft in the next twelve months and an estimated five hundred percent increase will occur in growth annually.
The results of identity theft can be devastating for the victim. We tend to think of financial loss when we think of becoming a victim of this crime; this though is only part of the many problems that may come about.
This course aims to make the student aware of the different types of identity theft that are currently employed as well as how to identity the signs of identity theft and ways and means of reducing the risk of identity theft.

Entry Requirements
There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.
All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.
*You will have access to the course for 24 months.
On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Identity Theft.
Your course certificate will also state the number of CPD points/hours the course is eligible for.
