About the Homeopathy Certificate
Homeopathy is a holistic medicine rooted in the belief of the body’s own healing ability. Homeopathy started with German doctor Samuel Hahnemann. By looking for ways to reduce the damaging effects of medicines in the 18th century, which at the time included the use of poisons. He began experimenting on himself, observing that symptoms of caused by toxic medicines, such as mercury which was used as a treatment for syphilis were similar to those of the disease they were being used to treat. This led to the principle of "like cures like". This homeopathy home study course will offer you an overview of health both physical and emotional. It proceeds to evaluate symptoms, cures and remedies. It then examines the onset of a syndrome, explaining chronic and acute conditions. The course then offers a variety of techniques and tools used in homeopathic treatments. Finally, it concludes with recording information and why response to treatment needs to be documented.
You can dedicate as little or as long as you wish to study this online course. The suggested study time is 120 hours; however, you may finish studying earlier or study in stages, according to your personal time commitments.
Who should study this course?
Homeopathic medicine has many applications in a lot of different areas. Some branches developed into pain management, naturopathy, herbalism, kinesiology. Therefore, homeopathy can suit a great deal of individuals. You could be interested in the healing side of it, or perhaps you could be looking for an alternative treatment for yourself or a loved one.
This home learning course does not require any previous knowledge or experience of homeopathy. It was designed in such a way to provide a novice, as well as a therapist with useful insights into the field.
What happens after the course?
At the end of this course you will have a ground knowledge in concepts of anatomy, biology, immunology and the physical and spiritual ability of self-healing. You can continue studying one of the above-mentioned choices in homeopathic therapeutics, allowing you to specialise in a particular area of the field.
This distance learning course allows you the flexibility to choose from a wide range of alternative therapy practice. You can work as self-employed, finding and maintaining your own customer relationships, among either public or private clients. Entry Requirements
There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.
All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.

Assessment Method
After each lesson there will be a question paper, which needs to be completed and submitted to your personal tutor for marking. This method of continual assessment ensures that your personal tutor can consistently monitor your progress and provide you with assistance throughout the duration of the course.
On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Homeopathy.
Your course certificate will also state the number of CPD points/hours the course is eligible for.
