A minor chemical or liquid spill can turn serious if it is not managed properly, creating slip hazards, environmental harm and the risk of regulatory penalties or reputational damage. This course explains why spill management matters, how to select and use spill kits correctly, and what a workplace emergency response plan should include.
It also covers proper disposal and reporting once a spill has been dealt with, helping organisations meet their obligations under COSHH 2002. The content suits any workplace that stores or uses chemicals, oils, fuels or cleaning products.
