Online A-Levels

Let’s Get You Into University

Prove Your Knowledge & Progress To University

While not the only route to university, A Levels are the traditional path that most of us will have come across as we progressed through our schooling.

As regulated and nationally recognised qualifications, A Levels demonstrate your knowledge in a particular subject area and as such have become standard pre-requisites for university entry requirements. Accepted by all UK universities, attaining the required grades in your A Levels is the only way you can get into some of the more competitive universities and undergraduate degree programmes.

Do A Level Grades Matter?

Yes and no – it really depends on your personal circumstances.

If you have an unconditional offer from a university, then simply completing the A Level course and achieving C grade or above is enough to enter higher education. If your offer is conditional on you achieving certain grades, then yes, your grades definitely do matter.

What Support Will I Get?

All of our online A Level courses are provided with tutor support. This includes feedback on all assessments completed and 1 to 1 messaging through our world-class learning platform. Our goal as an educational provider is to ensure that our students are successful in their studies!

Frequently Asked Questions

Most students take three A-Levels, which is the standard requirement for many university degree programmes. You can choose to take more or fewer subjects depending on your individual goals and the entry requirements of the university or career path you're interested in. The great thing about studying A-Levels online is that it’s much easier to fit these courses around your existing commitments, as opposed to completing each one in a rigid classroom setting that can take up additional valuable time.
Yes, A-Levels are a type of Level 3 qualification. Other qualifications at this level include BTECs, NVQs, and Access to HE Diplomas. While they're all considered Level 3, the qualifications differ in how they are taught and assessed. A-Levels are typically academic, whereas BTECs, NVQs, and Access to HE Diplomas are more vocational, designed to lead directly to a specific career or higher education path.
The "best" online provider for you will depend on your learning style and needs. A reputable online provider will offer accredited courses from recognised exam boards (like AQA, Edexcel, and OCR), provide access to dedicated tutors, and offer a comprehensive online learning platform with a range of study materials. It is important to look at factors like tutor support, course flexibility, and student reviews to find the right fit for you.
The best courses are those that fit your personal and career goals. Online A-Level courses are available in a huge range of subjects, from core subjects like Maths, English, and the Sciences to specialist subjects like Business Studies, Psychology, and Sociology. The right course for you is one that aligns with your strengths and interests and provides the necessary foundation for your next steps, whether that's university or a new career.
If you need to resit an A-Level or iA-Level with us, the process is straightforward. First, you need to inform your tutor. You'll then be sent a resit form via Atom to complete, which requires your identification and a recent photograph. There is an additional cost to resit, and you must register before the cut-off dates: July 31st for Autumn exams and December 31st for Summer exams. Remember, the resit process is the same as your initial exam booking, and our team is always on hand to help if you have any questions. It's worth noting that 90% of A-Level grades improve when people resit, so you have a good chance of getting the grade you want the second time around!
