About your Diploma

The zoology level 3 diploma begins to explore the different populations of animals, their behaviours, anatomy, physiology, distribution and classification. Helping you gain an understanding of what different species need to thrive and live in harmony alongside others.

Throughout the course you’ll become familiar with the animals in existence today, learning about their origins and how species have evolved over time. As well as covering how they function and their importance within their ecosystem.

From your studies you’ll have gained highly relevant knowledge to seek employment in many related careers. You could put your knowledge of habitats towards conservation work or educate others about the needs for animal welfare.

After completing the course, you can seek employment in zoos, wildlife parks and other environments that would benefit from your wide-ranging knowledge. You could also take what you’ve learnt into further study to become a fully qualified zoologist. Choosing to specialise in different areas, working with reptiles and amphibians, mammals, birds or even parasites.
