About the Life Skills Coaching Certificate
Life coaching is about supporting and encouraging people to make the most of their lives. A life skills coach will assist clients in achieving what they want, but they will not decide what that is. The success of life coaching lies within the ability to listen without judgement and the ability to detach.
The course includes theoretical aspects such as the coaching framework, group work and one to one coaching, financial, career, relationship, relaxation, nutrition and fitness, neuro-linguistic programming, assertiveness and self-esteem.
Who should study this course?
This life coach certification would bring practical benefits to those looking to become a life coach. But it could also help any individual that would need to take control of any area of their lives, be it emotional, professional or health related.
You do not need any prior experience to embark on this distance learning course. All that is required is your motivation to successfully complete this qualification and a means to access the study materials.
What happens after the course?
The life skills coaching course will provide you with essential abilities in listening and questioning. The ability to inspire and motivate along with the right tools to enable the success of your clients. There are other courses that can help you develop in specific areas such as business coaching, performance management and career counselling, and holistic therapies for a mind and body therapy advice.
Other than working in a consultant type of role, you could be either in public or private sector, and you could sell your services as a package. Life coaches can work as self-employed either from home or at the client’s house.

Entry Requirements
There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.
All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.
*You will have access to the course for 24 months.
On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Life Skills Coaching.
Your course certificate will also state the number of CPD points/hours the course is eligible for.
