Pharmacology and Pain Control
Virtually anyone involved in any aspect of the medical field has had to deal with issues of pain. Pain is a universal problem, one that the medical sciences have finally begun to pay greater attention to.
This course focuses primarily on the pharmacological aspects of pain and pain control. In order to assist those suffering from pain, it is necessary to understand its causes, therefore this course examines in great detail the brain and nervous system. It also endeavours to examine the human experience of pain as well as the body's natural analgesic systems.
Finally, this course aims to explore the pharmacology of pain relief and control and the practice of pain management.

Entry Requirements
There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.
All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.

Assessment Method
After each lesson there will be a question paper, which needs to be completed and submitted to your personal tutor for marking. This method of continual assessment ensures that your personal tutor can consistently monitor your progress and provide you with assistance throughout the duration of the course.
On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Pharmacology and Pain Control.
Your course certificate will also state the number of CPD points/hours the course is eligible for.
