Additional Information
You will have access to the course for 12 months from the date of enrolment.

To achieve your nationally recognised certificate, you will have to complete two exams, but before doing so you will need to register with E-Careers. Once you’re registered, you will receive a unique learner number and exam information as part of your Examination Entry Confirmation notice.
To gain entry to your exam, you will require the Examination Entry Confirmation, as well as photographic identification, such as a driving licence or passport. Your exam will be broken down into two units. We have explained the structure below:
Unit NG1: Management of Health and Safety (Modules 1-4)
- Exam format – Open book examination
- Duration – 4 hours
- Pass mark – 45 (Credit = 65-74, Distinction = 75+)
Unit NG2: Risk assessment (Modules 5-11)
- Exam format – Practical assessment
- Duration – 3 hours
Results will be issues within 50 working days from your exam or assignment submission date. This date will be stated on your Examination Entry Confirmation notice.
You will have five years to complete your qualification, with this period beginning on the date you passed your first successful unit (‘declaration date’). If you complete any units after the five-year period, you will have to retake them to achieve the certificate.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
