Effective clinical record keeping is of paramount importance in a dental practice. The purpose of this module is to identify current good practice guidelines for keeping full, accurate legible clinical records.

Modules

On completion of this CPD course, you should be able to show how clinical records are kept in the practice, including:

  • Records of all diagnostic information
  • Records of all treatment detail
  • Understanding of NHS regulations and paperwork
  • Ability to write effective referral letters
  • Awareness of and ability to comply with record-keeping guidelines

Requirements

There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.

Qualifications

On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Key Skills 3: Clinical Record Keeping.

Your course certificate will also state the number of CPD points/hours the course is eligible for.
