About your Diploma

GCSE English Language is designed to develop and enhance your skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Where English Literature is more concerned with the thematic content of texts and typically involves poetry and prose, English Language is more scientific and explores language   In terms of its structure, intent and purpose.

As such, this course will give you insights into how writers have viewpoints and perspectives on issues or themes. These can be surrounding the way we think or the way we live our lives, and you will build on these ideas, incorporating narrative and descriptive techniques to stretch you as a creative writer.

In addition to this, you will take your communication abilities to an advanced level by learning how to read fluently, spell correctly, write clearly, use grammar and punctuation effectively, and articulate your thoughts properly. By equipping you with such desirable skills, GCSE English Language allows you to progress onto further and higher education courses including A Level English and humanities subjects.

Our GCSE English Language course was written by qualified subject specialists who have years of experience in Further Education. This course bundle also includes all the materials and exams you need to get your GCSE English Language qualification.
