Dental nurses are required to support the patient and the team during routine extractions and minor oral surgical procedures. This module looks at the nurse's role during routine extractions, minor oral surgery and dental implants.

Requirements

There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.

Qualifications

On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Extractions and Minor Oral Surgery (DNNET II vol 2).

Your course certificate will also state the number of CPD points/hours the course is eligible for.
