This Level 6 Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy with Hydrotherapy is an advanced degree equivalent Ofqual regulated qualification.
This course will allow students to qualify as a Veterinary Physiotherapist with the added benefit of Advanced Animal Hydrotherapy. After completing the three parts, students will have gained the skills, knowledge and practical training required to treat animals in the water and on land.
The qualification is a Level 6 Diploma, split across three parts.

Learners must be at least 18 years of age to enrol. Learners must also have a Level 3 Diploma in Hydrotherapy (including treadmill unit – with either ABC/SEG), and prior experience within the industry. Learners must be able to access veterinary physiotherapy clinics to complete 800 hours of clinical practice.

Assessment requirements
You will be assessed via a combination of video and photo submissions, case studies, your supervisor will also need to provide witness testimonies.
Placement or Practical required
Learners need to attend 25 days of practical training and assessment (at one of our centres), PLUS complete 800 hours of clinical expereince with a Physiotherapist that they need to find themselves.
If placement or practical required, when?
Once payment thresholds are met and the knowledge for the related subjects has been achieved the placement is booked on a 1:1 basis.

Certification Timeframe
Learners can expect their certification within 6 months of completing the course, following the (EQA) External Quality Assurance of assessment.
Course Fees
All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.
*You will have access to the course for 24 months.
Students will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence and several practical assessments. Students will need to show sufficient evidence that they have the required knowledge, skills and understanding of the assessment criteria.
When are you assessed?
Once you have successfully completed your portfolio of evidence and the practical assessment across all parts (1,2 and 3) you will receive your certificate of completion alongside your qualification.
