  • Section C – Modern prose: explore how writers create meaning and effects in a range of modern prose texts
 
Component 2: Modern Drama and Literary Heritage Texts (Examined)
The focus of this component is:
  • Section A – Modern drama
  • Section B – Literary heritage texts

There are no entry requirements to enrol on this course. However, the assessments for this iGCSE are only available in English, and for this reason, each learner must be able to work in English.

It is recommended that learners can read and write in English at Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

 

This International GCSE (iGCSE) English Literature course provides alternative assessment routes to suit different student needs across the world. 
Learners must complete a mandatory component, after which they have a choice of an additional examined component or a coursework option.

In addition to their examination centres they also have a dedicated Science laboratory based in Birmingham with the ability to deliver A Level Science practicals all year round and access to another Science laboratory located in London.
