If you decide to take the exam and pass it successfully, you will be awarded with an iA Level qualification in Physics, delivered by Pearson Edexcel, the UK’s largest awarding organisation.

Pearson Edexcel are the UK's largest awarding body and we are regulated by Ofqual (England), SQA Accreditation (Scotland), CCEA Accreditation (Northern Ireland) and Qualifications Wales (Wales). They offer academic and vocational qualifications that are globally recognised and benchmarked, with educational excellence rooted in names like Edexcel, BTEC, EDI and LCCI.

Once you have achieved your iA Level in Physics, you will be well placed to progress on to higher education. Given the vast amount of career options available to you, any degree-level study will likely be relevant to the career you want to pursue.

With an iA Level Physics qualification, you could potentially study the following degrees:

  • Physics
  • Engineering
  • Environmental Science

You may also want to consider going down the route of studying for a BTEC Higher Nationals qualification in a related subject. Alternatively, your iA Level could be enough to secure entry-level employment in your chosen field, but please do your research beforehand.
