LondonlovesTalent Awards: Judges couldn’t separate two outstanding apprentices

LLB

Tim Campbell MBE and a prestigious judging panel couldn’t separate the outstanding achievements of two fantastic apprentices at the first LondonlovesTalent Awards held in April.

Apprentice of the Year joint winners were Tim Lord Hopkins, an Apprentice Coach with the Lawn Tennis Association and Louise Roberts, an Apprentice Chef with Lexington Catering.

Commenting on the joint winners, Tim Campbell said: “Both Tim and Louise’s achievements in their respective organisations were overwhelmingly brilliant. All the apprentices’ entries were fantastic, but Tim and Louise stood out for us.”

Roger Peace, CEO of learndirect said, “The line-up of winners at the first LondonlovesTalent awards was superb. The apprentices demonstrated the positive impact they make to the success of businesses. The short-listed employers showed their huge commitment to investing in talent and showed how the investment is helping their business succeed.

“I hope the achievement of apprentices and businesses alike inspire many others to invest in developing talent and by doing so, reap the rewards too.”
