    How it works
    • Our level 2 recruitment Apprenticeship is ideal if you want to develop the skills needed to understand the competitive world of the employment and recruitment services industry from a resourcing or entry level.

      Through your Apprenticeship, you'll learn how the market operates and gain all the skills and knowledge you need to be a successful recruitment resourcer for internal or commercial recruitment.

      Upon completion of this Apprenticeship, you'll become competent in the principles of recruitment practice. As part of the training, you'll achieve a:

      • Level 2 NVQ diploma in recruitment resourcing
      • Level 2 certificate in recruitment resourcing
      • Level 1 Functional Skills

    • Training for this Apprenticeship is based around a combination of mandatory and optional modules. We’ll help you put together the right mix of modules to fit the job you do and the way you want to develop your career.

      Mandatory units - these will include:

      • Support the recruitment processes
      • Researching candidates to support the recruitment purposes
      • Use of Client Relationship Management (CRM) for recruitment purposes
      • Researching candidates through social media networking
      • Contributing to the development of a recruitment resourcing plan
      • Identifying client recruitment requirements


      Optional units - these will include:
      • Manage diary systems
      • Deliver customer service

    • How will you learn?
      Our recruitment Apprenticeship is work-based. If you don’t have a job yet we can help you find an employer to complete your Apprenticeship with. An Apprenticeship is also a great option if you’re already in employment and looking to improve your prospects.

      If you’re 16 and over, you can start an Apprenticeship. All your learning will be done on the job and using our online learning portal. Your trainer assessor will support you throughout by visiting you regularly at work.

      How long will it take?
      Our recruitment Apprenticeship lasts on average 12 months.

      • Pre-select candidates
      • Assess candidates
      • Match and present candidates to employers
      • Attract potential candidates
      • Brief and support candidates
      • Carry out candidate debriefing


      Optional units - these will include:
      • Advise clients on operational recruitment planning
      • Develop resourcing plan for recruitment services
