Our Management Advanced Apprenticeship usually lasts 12-18 months. During which you’ll complete both practical on-the-job-training to get real experience, and learning that develops your knowledge and understanding of your job.
- Your daily activities could include:
- planning allocating and monitoring the work of a team
- managing conflict and resolving problems
- project management
You’ll work at least 30 hours a week. The hours and days you work could depend on your employer. Shift work including evenings and weekends is common in the retail, leisure and contact centre industries.
Once you’ve achieved your Apprenticeship, you could go on to complete further education and qualifications, such as a Management Higher Apprenticeship. You could also complete Advanced Apprenticeships or qualifications in subjects related to management, like customer service, retail, or sales.
After your Apprenticeship, you could also complete further training to progress your career to senior roles such as department manager, area manager or a wide range of other managerial roles within business.
