  • Whether you're already working in a childcare setting or we find an Apprenticeship for you, you'll be involved in assistant roles providing care to children.

    As part of the advanced Apprenticeship, you'll achieve the following qualifications:

    • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development (Early Years Educator)
    • Level 2 Functional Skills ICT
  • Training for this Apprenticeship is based around a combination of mandatory and optional modules. We’ll help you put together the right mix of modules to fit the job you do and the way you want to develop your career.

    Mandatory:

    • Understand children’s early years education and development
    • Implementing early years foundation stage


    Optional:

    • Understanding how to promote play and learning in the early years
    • Support children’s outdoor play
    • Understand how to work with children in home-based care
  • If you don’t have GCSE grade C or above in maths and English, you’ll need to complete our diagnostic assessment and achieve a minimum percentage to qualify for enrolment. In order to complete the Early Years Educator qualification you must achieve at least a grade C in GCSE English and maths by the end of your programme.

    Once you've attended an interview, we'll place you in an appropriate role if you're not already employed.
