People across Northern Ireland have been given the opportunity to get online and see for themselves the benefits of using the Internet and becoming a part of the 'Digital Generation'.
learndirect has introduced the Internet Made Easy Digital Literacy drop in sessions into libraries across Northern Ireland, and to date well over 1,000 one-to-one sessions have been delivered with participants now well on their way to gaining the skills they need to live and work in the 21st Century.
To date sessions have been delivered in 28 libraries across the country with additional dates in new venues being continually updated.

Ryan Connor, Operations Co-Ordinator for learndirect in Northern Ireland explains, "we are delighted to be able to help people in the community develop their skills and have more confidence in using new technology. We have had a great turnout in the libraries and the feedback has been excellent and because of this we have added more dates and venues to meet the demand. We plan to offer even more opportunities and expand our offer further throughout 2009".
