Lucy Salter joined fashion retailer New Look in 2016, working in the HR team based in London as a HR apprentice and on a business administration Apprenticeship. Feedback from her colleagues shows that she has become an invaluable addition to the team and supports all HR Business Partners and the Learning and Development team.
She was recently rewarded with a National Apprenticeship Week 2017 award for her efforts, here she is receiving her award:
Lucy has implemented some great processes in her time on the Apprenticeship and supports the New Look HR Director on a weekly basis with collating and presenting information for the Executive Directors.
Working closely with the Learning and Development team, Lucy has also supported the retail induction process, ensuring all new starters are set up to receive their training and stores are prepared for them. Being highly involved in this important project, Lucy has developed her organisation and communication skills, as well as having the opportunity to go out and visit stores and learn more about what New Look Retailers is all about.
Iain Doctor, HR Business Partner at New Look had this to say about Lucy:
“Lucy is a credit to the team, has a great attitude to work, and goes out of her way to support the wider HR team and the business. She is the first point of contact for most queries that HR get from all colleagues across support centres, and deals with them in an efficient and professional manner.”
“I’m really excited to see Lucy’s further development over the coming year and I know she will have a bright future in HR ahead of her.”
