Apprentice Chelsea Keedy has excelled during her business administration Apprenticeship, helping to recruit more than 30 young people onto courses through a presentation to her former school.
Having chosen the Apprenticeship route over university as it gave her real work experience which would allow her to shape her career and earn money, she’s now secured a permanent job as a team leader in a busy office.
Her confidence has grown tremendously and she has now expressed interest in progressing her career further and becoming a tutor within the centre.
Her Apprenticeship’s also enabled her to meet new friends, save up for a holiday abroad and move in with her boyfriend.
Chelsea won a national learndirect Inspiration Award in 2014.
Chelsea said, “To achieve such recognition for my work since 2012 is incredibly heartening and something I strive to build upon even further.
“I have the pleasure of working with outstanding colleagues. We are really like a family and to have their support and to have been given such opportunities to prove myself brings an indescribable happiness.
“We work with incredibly diverse and dedicated learners and to have been recognised for making a positive difference to their lives and the business as a whole really sums up the phrase ‘job satisfaction’ and is something I know will continue long into the future”.
