NVQs
NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) are work-related, competence-based qualifications which reflect the core skills and knowledge required to do a job. The training is mainly on the job and NVQ assessment recognises an individual's performance at work with a nationally recognised qualification.
The Health and Social Care NVQ is an online level 2 qualification combining health and social care work-based competency assessment with units that provide the underpinning knowledge. It can be tailored to your organisation’s needs and covers topics such as understanding social issues in care, safety at work, effective communication and recognising and responding to abuse and neglect.
