Voice of Apprenticeships Conference, 4-5 March 2014, London Film Museum
This conference is now a major of National Apprenticeships Week, and is recognised as such by the National Apprenticeship Service. The conference is aimed at all those working in Apprenticeships, post-16 education, skills and training, and brings together some 500 delegates each day to hear from a number of high profile speakers and network with a diverse mix of exhibitors.
learndirect is exhibiting at the exhibition and delivering a workshop entitled ‘Are school leavers equipped for work’, which we hope will stimulate discussion at the event. We will consider the skills gaps in school leavers and identify how Apprenticeships and Traineeships can address these by providing 16-18 year olds the vocational skills required to succeed in the workplace.
